Should I Quit Over Concern About The Affair of Two Others?

Question:

I’ve been employed by an international multi-million dollar company that manufactures and sells medical instruments, for over two years. My question pertains to the specific location I work in. Just over a year ago, one of the Human Resources associates began having an affair with a department Lead, who is married. At least that’s what everyone (not an exaggeration) says. The Lead has admitted to it, but the HR associate hasn’t and probably won’t. They often collaborate on work-related projects and she (HR) gives him (Lead) commendations and publicized thanks in the form of company-wide emails for whatever help he provides. Their flirtations are obvious and occur anytime they’re in the same space together.

My Husband Threatens to Send Photos of Me and a Boss to HR

A question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about threats
by an angry husband to send incriminating photos to HR.

******************************************

Question:
I recently started a new position with a company and began an affair with one of the heads of my department. It started as friendly but escalated and we both agreed to ‘back off’ since my husband had filed for divorce and I was going through a difficult time and did not want to bring my partner down in the divorce. The divorce had been started for other reasons but my husband eventually became suspicious and hired a private investigator.

There are Affair Rumors About My Husband and a Co-Worker. Can HR Help?

A question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about how to handle a situation
in which there are affair rumors about two people who travel together.
Can HR do anything to help?

**************************************

I found out (rumors only) from many people that my husband who is a manager is having an affair with a coworker. She doesn’t report to him, but they work on many projects together. One of the things on how this got started was their continually texting each other (company paid phones) and travel trips together. Is there anything HR can do? As an ethics situation, can one or both be removed from working together? We all work for the same company. My work has been declining as I am so stressed over the situation.

Can My Husband Be Fired for Having An Affair at Work (And Should I Tell?)

A question to the Workplace Doctors about reporting a husband
who is having an affair at work.

***************************************************************

Question: My husband is the president of a company and has recently started an affair with one of his direct report managers. He is denying it but I have evidence- it’s been going on 7 weeks.

He has managed to negotiate a $12K pay rise for her literally 2 weeks after they first slept together. This was backed up all the way by my husband- even going over the head of the HR manager to get them to offer his mistress more money. I am really thinking of contacting HR and my husband’s bosses (who own the company) to tell them what’s going on. I think it’s bad enough having a relationship like this but adding in the salary increase is dishonest. He might get a pay out or he might not…but I want him to lose his job as I feel it’s the only chance we have of saving our marriage of 14 years and our family of 3 young sons.

Boss/Agent Having Affair

Question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about an affair:

I knew within a week of working for this agent that he was having an affair/sexual relationship with a co-worker. It has gotten to the point where she calls him pet names and touches him inappropriately in front of other co-workers and he does nothing about it. I, we, feel like there is obviously inappropriate relationship going on as well as favoritism with this co-worker. If we acted this way, we would have been fired months ago.

Signed, Can’t Help Seeing
