Question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about blurring job and life:
My church is recycling toners. Today, I brought home two toners from my workplace because I thought that the program sounded interesting. The thing is I am trying to separate my personal life from my business life. By taking the toners, am I blurring any lines?

Dear Personal Business:
Possibly you are, but I doubt finding a more reasonable price to get a recycled toner cartridge for your workplace is a serious blur. However, since religious institutions are not be places of business, you might check to see if your church is paying tax on what it sells. Rather than worry about blurring lines, simply return the toners with a simple explanation that you’ve decided not to participate in this program. It is good to have a conscience and to be socially conscious. Places of worship have much more to do than pray. They have a long history of caring for human need and justice. Now more than ever they can raise awareness of preserving our environment.May your tribe increase. Working together with hands, head, and heart takes and makes big WEGOS, and that applies to not-for-profit organizations.
