Coworker Yelled At Me. Advice For the Future?

Question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about coworker conflict:

In my company I am the one who is getting maximum salary. And also I am working as part time. There is a lady about 45 years of age, who always gets jealous of me because of my salary and the appreciation I get from chairman. She is in admin department and I am in technical department(consultant). This lady has been constantly playing politics in the company and doing back biting against me. She always tries to show her superiority over me, but I am relatively calm and have ignored her comments many a times. This frustrates her even more, since she expects some comments from me as well. She looks for an instance for making a fight with me, but I never gave her a chance.

Discipined for Calling a Cowork Lazy

Question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about coworker not doing her share:

I work in a busy restaurant; the job is hard enough as it is without people slacking off. A colleague was doing a word search and coloring in; then later on standing talking to a table for about 15 minutes while I was running round serving 8 tables, making drinks and running food. Plus all that I had to look after her only other table. Also I was doing all the jobs to prep the restaurant for the evening shift. I told the branch manager what was going on and nothing was said. I managed to get a break (only 30 minutes in 14.5 hours day). When I came back the kitchen, the staff asked me why I looked pissed off. So I told them I was sick of running around so much because this colleague was lazy. The kitchen staff told this colleague I’d called her lazy. She then confronted me and said if I had something to say, I should say it to her face. I did and we argued a bit. She then went crying to the manager.

Coworker Gets Away With Everything

Question to Ask the Workplace Doctors about coworker conflict:

Today was a really bad day. I was working and doing my job. I work at a plant that processes frozen meat. I love my job and want to keep it. A coworker threw a piece of frozen meat at my face and hands. I told him not to do it again, and pointed my finger at him so that he would know that I was talking to him. He started waving and throwing his hands up in the air and screamed ” I “f-word” did not throw that “f-word” meat, you “f-word b***h.” Our supervisor was there and heard this and just held his arm, smiling and giggling. I told her and she did nothing. I do not want to lose my job for telling. Please help. I did not cuss him back.
